A Piece of Hope.

I wrote this on April 23, 2023. I never shared this poem because I wanted to do a few things with it, but I needed the comfort it offered, and I thought that I would share it for others who might also need the comfort and peace it brings.

A Piece of Hope

A piece of hope,

A glimpse of love,

A moment of happiness comes.

Then,

A time to cope,

An angel above,

A season of feeling numb.

So I turned to God

And cried aloud

With a broken heart.

I needed help from Him

And a chance to restart.

My heart is broken

Yet I still press on

Because of Him.

My heart can heal

So I can move on

Because of Him.

A piece of hope,

A glimpse of love,

My moment of happiness will come. 

Beyond grateful for past me, who has such a way with words. Hope you each have a peaceful and blessed week.
